Breaking news / More news
These are the primary news pages. The home page, also called the Breaking news page, usually contains between 15-20 of our most current news stories. As these stories age they move to our More news pages. All stories published in the last 10 business days can be found in the Breaking news and More news pages.

The Breaking news page displays stories in headline and summary form. Paid subscribers to our weekly newspaper may read full-text versions of the stories by clicking the headline accompanying each summary.

News is published on a daily basis, and frequently appears on our site prior to appearing in our weekly newspaper. Stories appearing on our site are not necessarily duplicated in print or vice-versa. We publish an average of 8 news stories each business day on PlasticsNews.com.

Story archives
This searchable, full-text archive of Plastics News content contains print stories published in our weekly newspaper dating back to January of 1994. This archive usually lags publication of the weekly newspaper by 2-3 weeks. Any user may conduct a search of the archive and see a summary listing of all content matching your search criteria. Paid subscribers to our weekly newspaper may see full-text versions of stories matching their search criteria.

This section contains current and historical market-price information on over 150 grades of plastic resin, organized into 5 categories: volume thermoplastics, high-temperature thermoplastics, engineering thermoplastics, thermosets, and recycled plastics.

Rankings & lists
This section contains detailed data on over 1,500 North American plastics processors, minority owned businesses, and recyclers. Listings or plastic lumber manufacturers, compounders, and worldwide industry organizations may also be found.

Special reports
This section contains content from our special reports, including processor rankings, trade show and conference coverage, and other special features published by Plastics News.

Opinion
Here you will find our opinions and other perspectives written by the Plastics News editorial staff and by industry experts. Viewpoint columns reflect the opinions of Plastics News with respect to general or specific industry events or issues. Mailbag contains letter submitted by readers on a variety of topics, including past content appearing in Plastics News or PlasticsNews.com. Web Watch links
This section of the site contains the online version of the Web Watch Directory. The directory contains listings of over 2,300 plastics industry Web sites and is searchable by company name or one of more 75 categories of business activity. The Web Watch Directory is printed two times a year and is distributed with an issue of our weekly newspaper. The print directory is published in May and December; the online directory is updated on a continual basis.

Product news
This section contains news and information on the latest in new products, technologies and innovations of interest to plastics processors.
