Sipa to launch its first integrated bottling line
By Charlotte Eyre
EUROPEAN PLASTICS NEWS

VITTORIO VENETO, ITALY (July 28, 2009) -- Sipa will launch the Sincro Triblco bottler, which integrates bottle production, labelling, filling and sealing, at the Drinktec trade show later this year in Germany.

Sipa, which developed the machine using technology from labelling machine firm PE Labellers and line systems expert Berchi, says the new system is ideal for companies that are lacking in space as it requires only a small floor area for installation.

Sincro-Tribloc features Sipa’s rotary blow moulding machine – the SFR EVO - together with a Roll-Adhelsleeve labeller, which works without using hot glue, and an isobaric filler.

Sipa claims that the new bottler offers advantages over other machines on the market, as it can be set to handle different bottle sizes without the need to change any mechanical element. “This offers obvious savings of costs and size change time,” said the company.

At Drinktec, the Sincro Triblock will be demonstrated producing Superleggera bottles, which are already available on the US market and weigh only 9.9g.

Drinktec is a triennial trade show focusing on machinery and equipment for the beverage industry. The show will be held in the New Munich Trade Fair Centre between the 14 and 19 September.
